History of the Crews Law FirmCrews Law Firm founder, Napoleon S. Crews, Jr., began the practice of law in 1980. He is licensed to practice in Kansas and Colorado. Napoleon started and continues as a general practitioner handling a broad range of legal matters including agriculture and livestock, business formation and transactions, criminal defense, employment litigation, environmental law, estate administration, family law, immigration matters, labor relations, Native American sovereignty and casino gaming, personal injury, and workers compensation. Crews Law Firm strives to bring its clients peace of mind by providing competent and aggressive legal services designed to get results. Napoleon is a member of the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Douglas County Bar Association, and the Pueblo County Bar Association. He also brings 11 years as a private investigator to the practice. As a private-eye, his investigative skills were finely tuned and now benefit the firm's clients in all areas of his practice. Napoleon has conducted workshops on wills and estates, spoke at statewide conferences on prosecuting paternity cases, and has tried more than 50 cases before a jury and in excess of 750 cases before a judge or administrative officer. As adjunct professor, he has also taught classes on Labor and Employment law. On a more personal note, Napoleon has written 9 historical fiction novels and 3 dramatic plays about Lawrence, Kansas' rich history. His stories are popular in the Midwest, and his plays have been performed throughout the City of Lawrence.
